616 used to be the same way...
Then Civil War came along...
Maaaaaaaaaaan you better not be a Batman fan.
At all.

I'm just saying because I've met those people.
"MAN! IRON MAN SUCKS! HE'S JUST SOME GUY IN A SUIT MAN!"
"What about Batman?"
"OH MAN I FUCKING LOVE BATMAN! HE'S JUST A NORMAL GUY TAKING ON THE WORLD! HARDCORE MAN."
I liked Iron Man. Then Civil War came along, and I hated him. Then Captain America died and stuff, and to make a long story short, I like him but I don't agree with his politics. Still, a law's a law.

Iron Man and Batman are similar, because they're both rich and neither of them have super powers. Batman uses his martial arts and detective skills, along with various technological advancements. Iron Man uses his brain and makes technology to help him.

Actually, Iron Man does have super powers now, as he's connected to his armor. His inner armor hides under his skin and he can bring it out and call the other pieces to him just by thinking. Whoever was writing the Iron Man book at the time this happened probably wanted to give him powers to eliminate that as a complaint about the character.
